This decorative Rope Design Gate Latch 1249 is a popular choice for external gates as it creates a lovely finishing touch to bespoke woodwork. This particular design has also been spotted on Emmerdale.

Please note: 6″ & 7″ is supplied with the Ring Handle 679 and 1146 catch and staple.

8″ & 10″ is supplied with the Ring Handle 632 – This is a larger handle.

The decorative Rope Design Gate Latch 1249 is manufactured in the Kirkpatrick factory in Walsall using traditional sand casting methods.

Malleable iron is used as this is the toughest, most durable material available for a traditional product like this. A coat of black paint and then a second coat of black powder ensure that this product, like our other door and window furniture, will remain highly decorative and functional for many years to come.
