Bakelite Round Door Knobs On Square Rose Black

A pair of vintage-style real Bakelite Door Knobs complete with square back-plates. This stepped round design knob is slightly larger than some making it a nice weight. Complete with 5/16" spindle so it should fit some old locks as well as new ones. Grub screws and wood screws are also supplied.

They suit either mortice locks or rim locks. For rim lock use, simply discard one of the two back-plates.

The square back plates are No 6060 and the knob is No 6115.

All our BROLITE real Bakelite pieces have been modelled on original designs from early to mid-20th century. The door knobs & handles are interchangeable on all the Brolite backplates, so you can order the parts individually if necessary.

Please note: these handles/knobs are unsprung - just like the originals - and so require some help to return them to a horizontal position. You will therefore need to ensure that the latch or lock used has sufficient spring capacity.
